What is a Zone?

A zone is simply an area or room in your establishment. Examples of zones would be a library, cafe, bar or restaurant.

IsItBusy uses Zones as a grouping term for a collection of Counters.

Why do we have Zones?

A room or space in an establishment might have multiple entrances and exits. For accurate counting, we install multiple Counters in a zone. In the event that someone enters through Doorway A and leaves through Doorway B, we can balance these Counters to calculate how many people are in the space.

How many Zones can I have?

We don't currently limit the number of Zones that you can have, that's completely up to you. We do operate with per-zone billing, so you'll be paying a monthly fee for each Zone that you create. This fee is dependent on the type - you can find out more on our Pricing page.
